Delete your Krumbs account

App: Krumbs. Developer: Lancelot-Project. You can delete your account and your data yourself, from inside the app, without emailing anyone.
From the app (fastest)
- Open Krumbs.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down to Delete profile.
- Confirm. The account is deleted right then and you are signed out.
It is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no bin: once confirmed, neither the account nor its data can be recovered.
If you no longer have the app
Write to privacidad@lancelot-project.com from the email address you saved the account with, asking for it to be deleted. Writing from that address is what lets us check the request is yours; if you can’t, we will ask for some other reasonable check.
Requests are handled as soon as possible and, at the latest, within one month of receipt, extendable by two more if the request is unusually complex.
If you never saved the account with an email, with Apple or with Google, it was an anonymous account that lived only on that phone. Uninstalling the app loses access to it, and we cannot identify it in order to delete it, because there is no data linking it to you.
What is deleted and what is kept

| Your private groups, with nobody else in them | Deleted along with all their expenses. |
| Expenses you shared with other people | Kept in those people’s groups: they belong to them too, and deleting them would break their balances. |
| Your name and avatar colour inside those shared groups | Kept, turned into an account-less contact owned by another member of the group, so the expenses still make sense. The people you shared expenses with will still see your name in their history. Your email and the rest of your data are not kept. |
| Scanner cost telemetry and the technical log of notifications sent | Kept without your account. Once it is deleted, the identifier they contain can no longer be linked to you. |
Before you delete
- Settle what you owe or are owed: deleting the account loses your access to the groups, but the balances stay there for everyone else.
- The app does not have a data export button yet. If you want a copy before deleting, ask at privacidad@lancelot-project.com.
- Uninstalling the app does not delete the account: you have to delete it explicitly.
Other options
If you only want to stop getting alerts, you don’t need to delete anything: turn off Krumbs notifications in your phone settings.
